Stock Pitch Competition showcases rising analysts at UNL
On Wednesday, March 31, the Big Red Investment Club hosted its first in-person Stock Pitch Competition in over one year! Since that day (March 7, 2020, to be exact), the Stock Pitch program has grown significantly in:
Membership (net 16 new members)
Resources (acquiring program-wide Wall Street Prep and remote Bloomberg access)
Funds (period-adjusted return of 109.73%), and
Recognition (First Place winners of the Nebraska Local-Level CFA® Equity Research Challenge, defeating teams of graduate students from Creighton University)
…all the while weathering a global pandemic! These high marks also demonstrate commitment to our MISSION and PURPOSES (see the About page), which are critical to both BRIC and Stock Pitch’s growth going forward.
